So, my daughter is going up north this weekend with some family and so my 14 year old son Brady has me all to himself (lucky kid!). Hmmmm. So how do you entertain a 14 year old? When he was little is was so easy! There were a million things we could do. Chuck E. Cheese, the zoo, whatever, you could pretty much make anything fun. But now, what do we do? Can't go to the zoo because that's dumb apparently. We like to go to the movies. That's usually what we do together and probably what we'll do this weekend but it would be nice to find something new. last weekend I took Sam to the Circus and thought for sure he would want to go. Nope, not so much.

I took my son when he was 15 to see David Gray, did he think that was cool? Not likely, he hid in his hoody all night even though most of the audience was closer to his age than mine!
He is nearly 17 now and going out with me this evening to a play, different thing entirely. So he is past the not cool stage and is delightful again.
